Overnight Mission Trip |
|---|
|
Saturday, May 17th We leave Pierce UMC at 7 a.m. and drive to Camp Fontanelle to volunteer our muscles for their volunteer work day. We will be painting, sawing, clearing trails, etc. That evening Camp Fontanelle is showing “Find Nemo” on their huge outdoor screen on the grass (kinda like a drive-in theater minus the cars). Then, we would sleep in the lodge. On Sunday in the morning, we would head to Omaha to worship at a predominantly African-American United Methodist Church. Eat lunch and be home middle of the afternoon. |

VBS Dates Set |
|---|
|
There will be NO KFC CLUB in May because of Vacation Bible School. The VBS dates are Wednesdays, May 21 and 28, June 4, 11 and 25 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. We skip June 18 because I will be on vacation with my family. Volunteers are needed for outdoor games, crafts, video, and kitchen. I also need the following craft items: empty paper towel rolls (about 40). A variety of seeds, all colors and sizes are needed for a seed mosaic craft. Please call me if you could donate these items and/or volunteer your time to make VBS happen Thank you, Debbie T. |
