LITTER ANNOUNCEMENTS

Litter 1

Ruff Rivers Rudys Mustang GT MH-QAA x  Blue Heavens Heiress "Paris"

We have dedicated ourselves to breeding Labrador Retrievers of exceptional quality.  Our goals are to produce dogs that are of excellent genetic quality, as well as dogs that are a pleasure to train, compete, and hunt with.

Qualities that we try to breed for are those that make our Retrievers fantastic hunting companions and family members -- temperament, intelligence, trainability, and style.  Our breeding stock comes from some of the best retrievers in the nation.  Our pedigrees come from those dogs who are competing on the national level of field trials including National Field Champions, National Amateur Field Champions, Master Hunters, as well as other titled Retriever Champions.  We believe that the qualities that make tremendous field trial dogs also make exceptional hunting dogs.

We start with selecting parents who meet very demanding specifications in trainability, natural hunting instincts,  correct appearance, and most importantly- physical and mental soundness. That is why all our litters are produced from dogs that are OFA hip and CERF eye cleared.  Also, now that the DNA  test for EIC (Excercise Induced Collapse) is available to breeders, of our breeding stock,  is also tested for EIC. We will only breed combinations that have no chance of producing puppies affected with EIC.

All our puppies are born in our specially designed puppy nursery so we can keep a close eye on them and they have the best opportunities to be extremely well socialized. As professional trainers both Mark and Traci are home to care for the puppies.  Our daughters Chantelle and Brooke also take part in the care and socialization of the pups.  This gives them every opportunity to get tons of socialization and new experiences.  Our puppies are also introduced to distant gunshots, pheasants and/ or ducks by the age of 8 weeks.  All puppies receive wormings, shots, and health checks prior to going to their new homes.   TLC Labradors also backs all puppies with a written guarantee.

TLC Labradors feels that the initial investment of the dog is minimal in comparison to the overall expense of owning a dog throughout its lifetime.  With this in mind, you want the best quality retriever you can get--for it is not the cost of the dog that is the investment, but instead, it is your heart and time you spend with your dog.  Our dogs become lifetime family members, even a better reason to get a quality Retriever that will give you a number of rewarding years of having a wonderful companion at your side.

TLC Labradors produces Black, Yellow, and Chocolate litters.  Our goal is to help you find a puppy that fits everything that you want in a Retriever.  Whether it be a dog to compete in field trials with or a dog to have as a hunting companion and family member, we will find the perfect puppy for you.

We hope that we can help find a puppy that is perfect for you!
